Current lawful Postage Rates

I've sent over 9,000 letters for 2 ¢ postage in recent years.

When I use the format I developed at www.abodia.com/mail

and state the laws on the envelop, then I am successful to mail at these rates.

This is 1st class mail.  You can mail cheaper, via 3rd class (called media mail now - don't use their words).

Here are the postage rates I use, based on 1/2 ounces.  If more then one 1/2 ounce, then multiply the rate.

            Letter (or package)  this is 1st class mail. 

1 ¢ letter within city to same city:

2  ¢ letter across the country

3 ¢ letter to anywhere in the world.

            Postcards:

1 ¢ up to 1,500 miles (to the Mississippi River).

2 ¢ anywhere in our country.

3 ¢ anywhere in the world.

Letters/ Package other class mail:

2nd class - LIKE book rate or media mail is cheaper, 3rd class is cheapest. 

(Don't use Media mail or book rate names or you are back in their jurisdiction.)

You can also  (I think) pay 5 ¢ per quarter, or for 3 months per subscriber,

            then you can mail to them many times with no additional charge.

Mail between publishers (Do you write a newsletter ? - be a publisher !) may be free, check the Statues at Large.

As I am not using the US Postal Service, but instead use the Post Office & their rates

I can send a package over 16 Ounces without having it inspected at a window clerk.
