Acknowledge Mail you get from me, please.
In learning about mail, here is what I seek:
When you get mail from me, you don't need to do anything, but it is very helpful to me if:
- you tell me when you get my mail.
- we discuss briefly what is in the mail, whether papers or disc w/ files.
- you send me a photo or a scan of front of the mail so I can see if:
the post office did any of these:
- postmarked that mail
- cancel stamp or Taxe Percue
- printed a bar code on mail
or problem, like marked postage due, or addressee unknown, etc.
Don't pay any additional postage.
If post man will not give to you without your paying more postage, refuse to pay. Let him return the mail. Anyone is charging additional postage is illegal as noted in US Codes.
Show me the received mail image so I can learn:
- what format I used in address to you
- if I used zip & or city state ?
- if postage was stamps (what amount ?) or Taxe Percue
Mail is personal & private.
I desire to establish mail & ways to communicate with you.
Do you receive text & audio texts?
Let me hear from you. Thanks.

Low Postage Mail is not postmarked
Typically they don't cancel my stamps either.
I think when they handle any mail they should
- put a bar code on bottom, showing the destination mailing location.
- post mark the date & originating post office location
- cancel the stamp
They usually do little or none of above on my cheap postage mail, like they feel the obligation to send it forward
but don't approve or participate in my mail by marking with their codes
